I tell my children serving others leads to blessings. I have encountered tangible and intangible ways serving others has blessed me. Simple random acts of kindness can lead to so many different opportunities. After serving at the Welcome Table last week, my children were invited to ride ponies at the home of the lead cook. You can see how this was a blessing to my daughter. She’s been trying to ride since April.
Her and her brother had the chance to groom the horses and prepare them for the ride.
They were thrilled with this blessing.
Caleb loved every minute of his experience and can’t wait to ride again. It’s amazing how God opens doors for us when we bless others.
I could be stressed about the two holes in my kitchen floor, but I know God is in control. Our refrigerator leak has led to a major renovation since our bar opening last summer. Yes, this was the new space we created, but God has different plans.
Three cabinets with water damage were whisked away for repair.
God news is new paint for our kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway. We may be replacing all of our hardwoods. Thankfully, we have insurance to cover these repairs. God is good all the time. We are too blessed to be stressed. Today we’ll help at the Welcome Table and we’ll be welcomed to eat lunch since our kitchen is out of commission.
